Student computer support at the OIT Solutions Center

Need help with your computer or connecting to campus? Contact the staff at the OIT Solutions Center. For those who have visited the center before, it's the same great service, but virtual.   

Reach out for a consultation by phone, email or chat, Monday to Friday, 10AM to 7PM.  

Academic software from anywhere

Need academic software? Head on over to the Vi-Lab right from your computer. It's easy to do. Open a browser, go to, and log in. 

If you prefer to install software on your computer, visit the OIT Store for software you can download. Search the Princeton Service Portal for ‘Software Spring2021’ for details.

Internet service check with Tiger Speed

When Internet issues are creating challenges with remote coursework or teaching, turn to Tiger Speed. Tiger Speed tests your connection to campus to determine if your Internet service is part of the problem. You can give it a try here,

Zoom for video conferencing and collaboration

All members of the University community have access to Zoom, Princeton's video conferencing service. To begin using zoom, go to and log in with your Princeton account. For tips on using Zoom, search the Princeton Service Portal for ‘Zoom Spring2021.’ 

GlobalProtect for secure access

When you need to access restricted networked resources from off campus, use GlobalProtect. GlobalProtect creates a secure connection (called a virtual private network (vpn) between your device and the campus network.

EZProxy: the key to digital Library resources

New Password Reset Process
