Research computing mini-courses/workshops in the fall

Thursday, Aug 20, 2020

Starting this fall, we have a full lineup of virtual programs heading your way! We have 35 offerings that are either instructor-led mini courses or online workshops for you to immerse yourself in.  We hope you join us!

The fall trainings cover a broad range of topics including:

  • Using the Research Computing Clusters
  • High Performance Computing
  • Research Software Engineering
  • Improving Your Computing Workflow
  • Using the Cloud
  • Python
  • Machine Learning
  • Visualization
  • Geographic Information Systems

For a complete course schedule and detailed information, please visit researchcomputing.princeton.edu/education/training. Here, you will also find a schedule for Setup Assistance Sessions, in which our staff will help with the technical, pre-event setup to ensure registrants are prepared and set to participate in the workshops.

Registration is required, so be sure to reserve your virtual seat!  After you register, a Zoom link for attending the session will be sent to you by email a day or two ahead of the training. While you're visiting the Princeton Research Computing website, check out the events calendar for upcoming events and user group meetings.

This has all been made possible through the joint efforts of the Princeton Institute for Computational Science & Engineering (PICSciE) and the Office of Information Technology
