About TigerPrint

Managed printing ensures that faculty and staff have reliable, secure, up-to-date, and supported printing, copying and scanning resources while also ensuring Princeton is providing this service in a sustainable and cost-efficient manner. Managed printing is also available to students using the PawPrint print queues.

Install TigerPrint

Windows

This article details how to install the TigerPrint and TigerPrint Color queues on both University provided and personal computers running Windows.

University Managed PCs

On your keyboard, press the Windows key + R to open the Run window. Type \\ss226w.princeton.edu and select OK. If prompted, enter your Princeton network credentials and allow the app to make changes. Double click the TigerPrint printer to install.

MacOS

This article details how to install the TigerPrint and TigerPrint Color queues on both University provided and personal computers running MacOS.

University Managed Macs

Open the Princeton IT Self Service app located in the Applications folder. Search or browse to the TigerPrint Combined Install app and select Install.

 

How to release a print job

  1. Tap your Princeton ID card on the attached card reader
  2. Select Print Release
  3. Select the jobs you wish to release and select Print
